The Oman Authority for Quality Assurance (OAQA) of Education has announced the results of the institutional re-accreditation for the Modern College of Commerce and Sciences.
The College is placed on probation following the review conducted in October 2025 and the report which was approved in July 2026.
In the next step, the college will undergo its first reassessment against the institutional standards one year after the report's approval.
Why was this outcome granted?
The institutional reaccreditation review found that the College met four of the six standards. It did not meet the following standards for Governance and Management and Academic Provision and Resources.
The standards met by the college include student and student Support Services, Human Resources, Research and Innovation and External Engagement
